In Loving Memory Barbara Jean Connor August 6, 1938 - July 9, 2024. We announce the passing of Barbara Connor, a powerful, resilient, an inspirational woman who departed her life on July 9, 2024.
Barbara Jean Connor was born on August 6, 1938, in Beaumont, TX Jefferson County to Zoe Marie and Herbert Connor. A trailblazer, nurturer, and a pillar of strength, she devoted her lift to her family, community, and the pursuit of justice and equality.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose unwavering love and dedication knew no bounds. Her home was always filled with warmth and wisdom and providing a safe haven for all who entered.
She led with courage and compassion earning the respect and admiration of all who knew her. She was a beacon of hope and resilience, teaching us the true meaning of strength and perseverance.

Niece’s and Nephew’s Anthony Connor, Michelle Connor, Stephanie Connor, Ebony Connor, Tiffany Connor, Michealravon Connor Nicholas Connor, and Toddrick Connor.
Sixteen Great Nieces and Nephews. Twelve Great–Great Nieces and Nephews.
Barbara Connor was baptized in 08/21/1938 at Blessed Sacrament Church, She started her career at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
She attended Lamar U, TSU and College at New York City University and graduated with a degree and Teaching Certificates. She became licensing at Snyder HS Jersey City of Physical Education Teacher April 1970.
In 1979 she started a career in Roberto Clemente State Park, New York State Parks and Recreation, work for 40 years.
She retired in 2019 as a Parks Operation Manager.
